Enterprises of Hope

HopeBuilders International is making a significant impact through micro-enterprises called Enterprises of Hope, which focuses on empowering communities and individuals in Uganda by fostering self-sufficiency and breaking the cycle of poverty, through giving a hand-up.

Simple initiatives in the Village of Hope, allow children and mothers to engage in sustainable farming practices, in cultivating crops and raising livestock, such as chickens, cows, goats, and turkeys. This hands-on experience not only provides nutritious food but also imparts valuable agricultural skills.

Additionally, vocational training programs in areas like tailoring and small business management equip participants with the tools needed for economic independence. Youth Support Uganda provides these programs specifically to vulnerable young women, which enables them to establish their own enterprises, fostering financial independence and resilience.

Through these multifaceted efforts, HopeBuilders International's Enterprises of Hope seek to create lasting change by equipping individuals with the skills and resources necessary for a sustainable future.

HopeBuilders International are seeking mentors to help give a hand-up and to guide young people in their business endeavours – do get in touch with us through of Get Involved page.
